In today’s class, as usual we will start with some grounding, deep breathing and an affirmation pledge. Then as we meet Mr Arthur bones, we will explore our own bones and body with some simple yoga warm ups. We continue the warm up with a round of Sun Salutations and then move to a few standing and sitting poses with a mindful relaxation at the end.

We start with settling in, warming up and The Rainbow Breath with affirmation. After a round of sun salutations we have fun exploring partner poses together. Hope you enjoy playing with these as much as we did.

These were the affirmations we wove through today’s teen class, bringing attention to our mental wellbeing. The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness week is Kindness.
We spoke about kindness to ourselves, all other living beings and indeed our planet. Through a series of warm ups and poses we repeated these affirmations and intentions for ourselves and others. We spoke of our brain, thoughts, emotions, reactions, stress hormones, happy hormones, physical body, mind and spirit. We explored various mindful, yoga and breath tools and techniques to notice, regulate, honour and manage these.
