6-day Advanced Children’s Yoga Teacher Training

Overview

This 6-day advanced children’s yoga teacher training will deepen your knowledge and understanding of children’s yoga – toddlers to teenagers.

As we “move behind the scenes” to explore anatomy and physiology, social and emotional development, the workings of the brain and neurodiversity. We delve into yoga vedanta, asana, pranayama, mindfulness and meditations suitable for young people and practicing teachers.

This 6 day children’s yoga teacher training focuses on working with toddlers to teens and understanding their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development through the ages. This will also include nutrition, basics of ayurveda, exploring yoga nidra, chakras, nadi’s, massage, self care, affirmations and supporting students with additional needs. After mind mapping, lesson planning and creating original guided imagery with your group, you will teach a hands-on teen yoga class.

Throughout the training, your own yoga practice and inner exploration will continue to deepen. Together we will look further at how to get your classes up and running, how best to approach schools, setting up your yoga business and tackling social media. We also look forward to introducing you to some great guest teachers.

The 6 day children’s yoga teacher training is open to students who have completed the YogaBeez 4 day foundation course or if you have undertaken any other specific children’s yoga training courses with a minimum of 32 hours and have at least 6 months teaching practice you might also be eligible to join – contact us for details.
